Oregon State junior Andrew Moore was named the Pac-12 Conference’s Pitcher of the Week on Monday, just days after holding the league’s most potent offense to just five hits and a run in a complete-game effort. Arizona came into the series against the Beavers with a Pac-12 leading .324 batting average, which also placed the Wildcats second in the country. Moore, who finished with his first complete game since his freshman season in 2013, held Arizona to a fourth-inning run and surrendered a double, triple and three singles in the victory. Moore faced the minimum through the first three innings, then retired nine of the last 10 batters he faced. He struck out eight en route to his fourth victory of the season.
