Oregon’s women split their Pac-12 basketball games this past weekend with California’s Bay Area teams. The Ducks beat California Friday 52-47 at Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene, but lost to No. 2 Stanford 66-62 on Sunday. Oregon (10-9, 18-9) is scheduled to play Colorado at Boulder, CO Wednesday, 6 p.m., Pac-12 Networks. Oregon State had the same results, lost to Stanford Friday 87-63 at Gill Coliseum, Corvallis, but beat Cal 68-59 on Sunday. The Beavers (6-7. 13-10) are scheduled to play at Utah, Salt Lake City, Thursday, 4:30 p.m., Pac-12 Oregon.

Not a good Pac-12 road trip for Oregon’s men in the Desert this past weekend. On Thursday the Ducks fell to Arizona State 81-57 in Tempe, AZ and then on Saturday, Arizona beat Oregon 84-81 in Tucson, AZ. The Ducks (10-6, 17-10) are scheduled to host UCLA Thursday, 6:30 p.m., Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene, ESPN. Oregon State fared the same as Oregon. The Beavers lost at Arizona Thursday 83-69 and then at ASU Saturday 73-53. OSU (1-14, 3-22) is scheduled to host USC Thursday, 8 p.m., Gill Coliseum, Corvallis, ESPN2.

Oregon’s baseball team opened the 2022 collegiate season with three losses at San Diego. San Diego won Friday 11-1, Saturday 10-4 and Sunday 5-4. The Ducks (0-3) play San Diego Monday, noon. Oregon State got a season opening sweep in Surprise, AZ. The Beavers beat New Mexico in the opener Friday 21-1, downed Gonzaga 13-5 and 9-5 Saturday, New Mexico fell 13-3 on Sunday. OSU (4-0) is scheduled to play Xavier for three games beginning Thursday, also in Surprise, AZ. Televised by FLOSPORTS.

Oregon’s softball team took three out of four non-conference collegiate games in Texas this past weekend. On Thursday Oregon downed Texas State 7-3 in San Marcos, on Friday the Ducks lost to Baylor 3-0 at Waco, the second game of the doubleheader won by Oregon 8-4, and on Saturday the Ducks won 10-4 over Baylor. Oregon (8-1) is scheduled to play Friday against Northwester at Cathedral City, CA as part of the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic. At the USD Tournament in San Diego, Oregon State won four-out-of-five games in San Diego. OSU beat South Dakota State 2-1 Friday, UC Riverside 1-0 Friday, DePaul 10-0 Saturday, Iowa 7-2 Sunday and San Diego 8-1 Sunday. The Beavers (7-3) will also compete in the Mary Nutter Classic beginning Friday, 3:30 p.m., Palm Springs, CA taking on Tennessee, 3:30 p.m., and Baylor 8 p.m.
