Oregon’s men evened this year’s Civil War basketball contest with a 91-81 win over Oregon State at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene Saturday. The Beavers won the first game in Corvallis. It was the 346th meeting between the two Willamette Valley teams. Next up for Oregon (21-6, 10-4 Pac-12) is Washington State Wednesday in Eugene, while OSU (15-10, 6-8 Pac-12) plays Washington, Wednesday in Corvallis.

The women’s basketball team lost 77-72 to UCLA at Matthew Knight Arena. The base ball team won 8-2 at San Diego State. On Saturday, the women’s tennis team beat Iowa 4-1, in Norman, OK. On Saturday, the softball team lost to Louisiana-Lafayette 5-4. The baseball team beat San Diego St. 10-5. On Sunday: the women’s golf team finished 1st at the Westbrook Village Golf Club in Peoria, AZ. The softball team beat Central Arkansas 19-3 in Lafayette, LA. The lacrosse team beat Detroit Mercy 17-13 in Detroit, MI. The men’s tennis team beat Boise State 6-1 in Eugene. The baseball team beat San Diego St. 4-3 at San Diego. The women’s basketball team beat USC 69-60 at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene.

Oregon State baseball opened the 2016 season with a 7-6 win over Ball State at the Surprise Tournament in Surprise, AZ Friday. The Beaver softball team beat Robert Morris 8-1 at the DeMarini Desert Classic in Henderson,NV. In the second game of a doubleheader, OSU downed Hawaii 11-1 (5). The women’s basketball team downed USC in Corvallis 76-52. On Saturday, the softball team beat Wichita State 4-3, in Henderson, NV. The baseball team lost to Utah Valley, 12-9 in Surprize, AZ. The gymnastics team beat California 196.850 – 195.350, in Corvallis. The softball team beat UC Davis 11-2 in Henderson, NV. On Sunday: the women’s golf team finished 8th at the Westbrook Invite in Peoria, AZ. The wrestling team beat Boise State 36-9 in Corvallis. The softball team beat Boise State 5-4 (8) at Henderson, NV. The baseball team beat Minnesota 8-7 in Surprise, AZ. The softball team beat San Jose State 12-2 (5) at Henderson, NV.
