Oregon’s women fell to visiting UCLA 82-74 in a Pac-12 collegiate basketball game Friday, Matthew Knight Arena, Eugene. The Ducks came back on Sunday and beat USC at home 73-45. Oregon (2-1, 11-3) is scheduled to play at Arizona State, Tempe, AZ, Friday, 5 p.m., Pac-12 Networks. Oregon State lost to USC 69-58 at Corvallis Friday, Gill Coliseum, but came back on Sunday and handed UCLA a 77-72 loss. OSU (1-2, 9-5) plays Arizona at Tucson, AZ, Friday, 5 p.m., Pac-12 Networks.

UO release – EUGENE, Ore. — Senior guard Will Richardson capped 2022 in style Saturday, scoring 22 points and helping the UO men’s basketball team seal a 77-68 victory before 7,001 fans in Matthew Knight Arena Saturday night, Eugene. After leading by as many as 14 early in the second half, the Ducks (8-6, 2-1 Pac-12) saw OSU rally into the lead as late as 60-57. But Richardson scored six points during a 9-3 run that got Oregon back in front, and he made a game-sealing three-pointer from the top of the key with 1:40 to go. Richardson scored 12 of the Ducks’ last 20 points and finished the night with 22. “There’s no doubt he was the difference in the game,” UO coach Dana Altman said. “He just made big play after big play.” Oregon (2-1, 8-6) next plays at Colorado, Thursday, Jan. 5, 6p, ESPN2 or ESPNU. Oregon State (1-2, 7-7) plays at Utah on Thursday, Jan. 5, 7p, Pac-12 Networks.
