UO sports
Oregon’s football team fell 52-27 to visiting Stanford Saturday at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.  The Ducks (1-6, 3-8) play at Utah Saturday.  The men’s basketball team beat Army 91-77 at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene Friday.  Oregon (1-0) plays at Baylor in Waco, Texas Tuesday, 12:30 p.m., ESPN2.  The women’s basketball team beat Northwest Christian Saturday night at MKA 89-36.  The Ducks (2-0) then hosted Lamar on Sunday and won 84-67.  Next up is CSU Bakersfield on Friday in Eugene.  Oregon’s cross country teams were both fourth at the NCAA West Regional Championships Friday in Sacramento, CA.  Stanford was first in the men’s team race, while Portland took second.  Senior Ed Cheserek was first while sophomore Matthew Maton came in second for the Duck men.  Stanford also won the women’s race with Washington second and San Francisco third.  Junior Alli Cash was fifth overall for Oregon.  Next up is the NCAA championships Saturday, Nov. 19, at Terre Haute, Indiana.

OSU sports
Oregon State’s women’s cross country team was 12th at the NCAA Western Regional Championships at Sacramento, CA Friday. Senior Emily Weber led the Beavers with a 34th place finish.  The Beaver football team fell 38-24 at UCLA in Pasadena, CA Saturday.  OSU (1-6, 2-8) hosts Arizona Saturday in Corvallis.  The volleyball team beat visiting Colorado 3-2 Saturday night at Gill Coliseum.  Oregon State (4-12, 11-16) plays at UCLA Wednesday and USC Friday.  The women’s basketball team beat visiting Lamar 88-56 Friday at Gill.  OSU (1-0) hosts Idaho State Monday night in Corvallis.  The men’s basketball team beat Prairie View A&M Friday 78-58, and then UTSA Sunday 72-64, both in Corvallis.  OSU (2-0) hosts Lamar on Wednesday, 6 p.m.
