Oregon’s men lost 81-49 to BYU in Portland Tuesday night in a collegiate basketball game as part of the Phil Knight Invitational. The Ducks (2-1) are scheduled to head to the Maui Invitational Nov. 22 to play Chaminade in Las Vegas at 6 p.m., ESPNU.

Ducks Holding at No. 3 in CFP
UO release – EUGENE, Ore. — Oregon held strong at No. 3 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings released Tuesday evening on ESPN. The Ducks (9-1, 6-1 Pac-12) remain one of two teams in the CFP top 25, with Utah moving up one spot to No. 23. Oregon will square off with the Utes this Saturday in Salt Lake City (4:44 p.m. PT, ABC), needing a win or an Oregon State loss to Arizona State to clinch the Pac-12 North Division and a third straight trip to the Pac-12 Championship Game. Oregon remains the second-highest ranked one-loss team, behind only No. 2 Alabama. UO is in the top four of the CFP rankings for the third straight week, and in the top five for the ninth time in program history. The Ducks earned their 14th all-time top-10 ranking while appearing in the CFP top 25 for the 23rd time.
