Upcoming Business Workshops at SWOCC, July 18

Business planning is an important aspect of operating a successful small business. What’s Your Plan will be offered in Brookings at the Southwestern Oregon Community College campus starting August 11th and running through September 22nd. This class has four sessions and is full of insights and tools to help plan and manage a successful business. We still have 3 places open for scholarships for Small Business Management (SBM). SBM is a 9 month training program with one classroom meeting per month, one-to-one confidential business mentoring from an advisor each month, a market research report, a financial analysis report, peer networking and much more. The value of this training is over $2,500 but the cost for you if you take the program starting in October this year is only $300 for the first 10 paid registrations. Thanks to sponsorship from Evergreen Business Capital and The Ford Family Foundation, the regular price of $600 has been slashed. Tribal businesses and chamber members also receive a $75 discount making the price only $225 this session only. If you wait until the next SBM program, the price will be $600. The program will be offered at The Business Center in North Bend but will be available in Brookings via interactive video conferencing.
