SALEM, Ore. – The Oregon Department of Forestry will host a webinar meeting open to the public on Wednesday, Sept. 16 to provide an update and solicit feedback on the Western Oregon State Forests Habitat Conservation Planning process. This meeting will focus on the HCP conservation strategy, and information set to be presented to the Oregon Board of Forestry in October as part of helping the Board determine whether to move forward with an HCP. RSVP is requested. This effort focuses on a potential HCP on state forestlands west of the Cascades and is primarily intended for those with an interest in management of Oregon’s forests.
