Upset Motorists, May 24

The Monday morning commute across the McCullough Bridge was not easily. Motorist complained of being stuck in backed up traffic and long delays. A news release from ODOT at 8:18 a.m. explained the congestion: “ODOT: SW Oregon: U.S. Highway 101: There is a single traffic lane across McCullough Bridge on U.S. 101 (MP 234) in North Bend through mid-morning. Expect congestion. Watch for flaggers. Slowdown due to overnight fiber optic cable repair on the bridge running over schedule.
