A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter from Air Station North Bend hoisted a 36-year old male from a commercial fishing vessel off of Cape Blanco in Curry Co. Monday, Feb. 16. The man was suffering from chest pains when the skipper of the “Bess Chet” radioed for help. He was transported to Bay Area Hospital in Coos Bay.
