Vaccine for All, April 22

CHW release – Coos County is now open to administer vaccines to anyone! Coos County vaccine administration is moving quickly due to the partnership of many area agencies. Bay Area Hospital, Bay Cities Ambulance, Bay Clinic, Coast Community Health, Coos Bay Fire Department, Coos Health & Wellness, Coquille Valley Hospital, North Bend Medical Center, Nova Urgent Care, Southern Coos Hospital, and Waterfall Health Clinic. Providers may list vaccine appointment sign up information on their social media or website. Many pharmacies also have vaccine including BiMart, Broadway Pharmacy, Fred Meyer, Rite Aid, Safeway, Walmart, and Walgreens. Most pharmacies are scheduling through their websites. Please see a list below for current appointment links. Keep current on other opportunities through our Social Media as we do share information on vaccine events when it becomes available. In Coos County, approximately 70% of adults over 65 have received at least 1 dose of vaccine. There have been approximately 46% of the total adult population in Coos County who have received at least one dose of vaccine as of Wednesday’s data.
