Marshfield’s volleyball team secured a bye from the Play-In round of the upcoming OSAA playoffs by becoming the Far West League’s No. 1 team. That means the Lady Pirates will wait for the Play-In round to be completed by Oct. 24, before hosting a First Round playoff match on Oct. 28. The First Round winners advance to the State Tournament Nov. 3-4 at Forest Grove High School. South Umpqua is the No. 2 team and will host Corbett. North Bend ended up No. 3 and will travel to Estacada for a Play-In match.
