Video business incubation program from the SBDC, Feb. 24

The Oregon Technology Business Center (OTBC) in partnership with the Southwestern Oregon Community College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is launching an interactive video incubation program (VIP) for entrepreneurs on the south coast. The four month program beginning in April 2015 is designed to help startup companies grow quickly by connecting them with experts from the SBDC office, the OTBC network, and successful entrepreneurs. The program is being funded by a grant from the Oregon Community Foundation Fund and will be offered in Pendleton, Klamath Falls, Coos Bay and Astoria. The goal of the program is to grow successful businesses in rural Oregon. Every two weeks OTBC will host live video training sessions bringing together entrepreneurs, OTBC staff, SBDC staff and expert guest speakers. Between bi-weekly video conferences, mentoring by telephone conferencing will be offered. The program costs $250 and once the business owner completes the four month program they receive a $75 refund. The program will be limited to four entrepreneurs in each area. Registration deadline is Friday March 27, 2015. For registration information contact Mary Loiselle at 541-756-6866 or mloiselle@socc.edu. Information is also available at the OTBC website www.otbc.org.
