City of North Bend release – Construction will be closing the eastbound lane of Virginia Ave. between Crocker Ave. in Coos Bay and Roosevelt St. in North Bend to install a storm sewer line. Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 6th, 2022, Randle Bros. Construction will be closing the eastbound lane of Virginia Ave. between Crocker Ave. in Coos Bay and Roosevelt St. in North Bend to install a storm sewer line in Virginia Ave. in North Bend. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers in each direction, and traffic can expect delays. Detours will be signed. Closures will be between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm with the street accessible, although rough due to gravel surfacing during the evening and night. Construction is expected to take between 4 and 6 days, excluding surface replacement.
