In light of the Governor’s Order to Stay At Home, and the IRS’s extension of the filing date to July 15th, NeighborWorks Umpqua’s VITA program will be closed through April 19, 2020. We will reevaluate opening as previously identified in the press release at that point. Also, as a side note, all of our sites will be Census Assistance Centers as well, and will be working to help folks complete their census forms. This is the perfect time to educate our customers about the benefits of making sure they are counted in the census! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and let me know.
