The City of Coos Bay is seeking volunteers on the Homeless Workgroup. Applications are available from the City Manager’s Office at City Hall located at 500 Central Avenue, by calling 541-269-8912, or on the City’s website at www.coosbay.org Applications will be accepted in the City Mangers Office through 5:00 p.m. December 4, 2020. Applicants will be contacted to schedule interviews. Homeless Workgroup – Coos Bay, like many other communities, has experienced an increase in the number of persons experiencing homelessness. In 2017, the Coos Bay City Council approved the formation of a Homeless Workgroup to assist the city in exploring possible options to address homelessness in our community. The City of Coos Bay is looking to fill vacant positions on the Homeless Workgroup. This group generally meets once a month with a time and place to be determined.
