CCSO release – Date / Time: February 2nd, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.; Case Number(s): S23-02456; Classification: Violation of restraining Order, resisting arrest; Location: 93754 Newport Lane, Coos Bay Oregon; Suspect(s): Sadock, Matthew Adam (25); Information to be released: On February 2nd, 2023 at about 11:37 a.m., the Coos County Sheriff’s Dispatch Center received a call from a female victim, reporting Matthew Sadock 25 years of age of Coos Bay, had been violating a restraining against him. During the course on an investigation the victim provided substantial evidence of multiple violations of the restraining order. Deputy Bradlee Davis responded to 93754 Newport Lane, Coos Bay and attempted to contact Mr. Sadock, with the intention of arresting him for violating his restraining order. Upon arrival Mr. Sadock shut the door on Deputy Davis and locked it, while hiding inside. Deputy Davis subsequently obtained a search warrant for Matthew Sadock’s arrest. At about 1:30 p.m. Deputies Baker, Davis, Owens and Sgt. Boswell executed the search warrant, ultimate taking Matthew Sadock into custody without incident. Mr. Sadock was transported to the Coos County Jail on the charges of violation of a restraining order and resisting arrest.
