Meth, CCSO release – On April 28th, 2018 at 6:05 pm, a Deputy was traveling west bound on Newmark Avenue, Coos Bay, Coos County, Oregon, when they saw Christopher M. Miller walking east bound along the road. The deputy knew Christopher M. Miller had active warrants for his arrest. The Deputy contacted 37=year old Christopher M. Miller, Lakeside, in the parking lot of the 711 in Empire. Christopher M. Miller was very upset about his warrants. After minutes of attempting to de-escalate the situation Christopher M. Miller was taken into custody without incident. During a cursory search of Christopher M. Miller’s person, suspected methamphetamine was located in his pocket. additionally, an air soft pistol that had been modified to look like a real pistol was located. The air soft pistol was taped around Christopher M. Miller’s ankle. Christopher M. Miller’s Parole Officer was contacted and a detainer was authorized. Christopher M. Miller was transported to the Coos County Jail for a warrant charging Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, a Parole Violation, and an additional charge of Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Christopher M. Miller was held without bail.
