China Ck. Access, Bandon, CCSO release – On 9/23/19 at approximately 8:24 PM, Deputies received information regarding the whereabouts of a wanted subject who had eluded multiple agencies earlier in the day near the Empire area. Deputies worked throughout the evening with tips that had been called in, and eventually identified the location of the wanted subject 25 year old James B. Merchant. With assistance from the Bandon Police Department, Deputies were able to take Merchant into custody without incident. Subsequently, the driver of the vehicle identified as 25 year old Michael S. Cinollo was arrested for Driving While Suspended at the Misdemeanor level. Both subjects were transferred to Coos County jail where they were lodged.
