Harriet Rd., CCSO release – On January 31, 2019, at about 7:19 PM, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to 63771 Harriet Road, Coos Bay, in response to a report of a physical fight. Upon arrival, it was found that 27 year old Anthony Williams had fled the scene prior to law enforcement arrival. Williams had two active warrants for his arrest, alleging Assault III and Assault IV. While the original incident was investigated and no arrests were made upon it, an active search was made for Williams. Coos Bay Police Officers and Oregon State Police Troopers assisted in establishing the perimeter while K9 Raven and her handler Deputy Boswell initiated a dog track. K9 Raven led deputies and Troopers to a nearby residence belonging to 37 year old Trina Resindez-Fauklner. Resindez-Fauklner and 21 year old Nick Campbell, also in the residence, adamantly denied Williams was inside the residence and made statements designed to cause law enforcement to believe Williams had been seen leaving the area. However, Resindez-Fauklner allowed consent for Deputies to check the residence for Williams. Williams was located in the residence hiding in the bathroom closet and was taken into custody on the outstanding warrants. Williams was transported to the Coos County Jail. Resindez-Fauklner and Campbell will be referred to the Coos County District Attorney’s Office for the alleged crime of Hindering Prosecution. This was K9 Raven’s first career capture!
