West Side Bunker Hill, CCSO release – On 04/19/2019 at approximately 5:42 pm a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy contacted two individuals trespassing on private property located off West Beaver Hill near Hemlock Lane. During the investigation it was learned one of the individuals had provided a false name. An investigation revealed the suspects name was actually 55 year old Barbara L. Rodriguez of North Bend OR. Mrs. Rodriguez fled from the Deputy on foot while he was working with Dispatch to determine her identity. After learning of Mrs. Rodriguez’s correct name a record check revealed she had four outstanding felony warrants for her arrest, ranging from Failing to Appear in the first degree to Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Coos County Sheriff K-9 Odin was brought to the scene and conducted a criminal apprehension track ultimately locating Mrs. Rodriguez hiding in extremely thick vegetation. Mrs. Rodriguez was taken into custody and transported to the Coos County Jail where she is being held on the several warrants. This marks K9 Odis’s 80th direct capture during his service with the Coos County Sheriff’s Office.
