News release CCSO.  On 03/02/2017 in the early morning hours, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office received a notification from investigators in Minnesota, that 2 young male subjects wanted by Minnesota authorities were reportedly in the Coos County area, living at an RV park in a motor home. The information from Otter Tail County Minnesota was that 2 brothers, 28 year old Anthony Huckfeldt and his 27 year old brother, Zackary, both with felony warrants for weapons offences and other violent crimes, had been tracked traveling across the United States to Oregon, and were believed to be staying in and RV somewhere in an RV Park on Cape Arago Hwy. Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies located the RV at the Plainview RV Park on Cape Arago Hwy.  At about 4:50 PM, Thursday, 03/02/2017, with the assistance of the Coos County Emergency Response Team, Sheriff’s Deputies served the felony arrest and search warrant on the RV, park at Plainview RV Park.  Both brothers were inside the RV when the SWAT team arrived and after evacuating other campers at the RV Park and shutting down traffic along Cape Arago Hwy., the 2 brothers were taken into custody without incident.  After approximately 15 minutes the park was cleared and park members were allowed back into their trailers and the roadway was re-opened.  The Coos County Emergency Response Team is a multi-agency team made up of officers from Coos Bay PD, North Bend PD, Coquille PD, Coos County Sheriff’s Office, Medics from Bay Cities Ambulance and even a Physician.
