The Coos Bay-North Bend Water Board will be replacing a water main on Ocean Boulevard from the Water Board driveway entrance to Woodland Drive – a distance of about 1,500 feet. Construction work will begin Thursday, August 14 with completion anticipated by mid-November. The Water Board’s contractor, Laskey-Clifton Corporation, will work Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Continuous traffic flow will be maintained though one west-bound lane will be closed during much of the project. Brief delays may be expected at the Water Board driveway entrance and at Woodland Drive. Motorists should use caution and reduce speeds through the construction zone.
