NWS Alert – An active spring weather pattern continues through early next week. The next front arrives Thursday, and moderate precipitation and winds will accompany it. A stronger, wetter front will arrive Friday, and south winds will become moderate to strong in most areas. Strongest winds will be at the coast, Shasta Valley, mountains and East Side. Heaviest precipitation with this front is expected at the coast, in the Coast Range, and in Siskiyou County. Latest model data suggests a possible long-duration heavy rain event Saturday night into Monday.
