A couple significant sized earthquakes shook one of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast Friday, Jan. 29. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.0-magnitude quake was recorded at 4:28 p.m., followed by a 4.9-quake at 4:30 p.m. Both were located about 159 to 169-miles west of Eureka, CA.
