WIC Clinic in Coquille Has New Location, Sept. 10

A new clinic location in Coquille is now serving clients with WIC and public health clinic services at 271 N. Baxter. The refurbished building has brand new furnishings provided by a $3,300 grant from the Coquille Tribal Community Fund, which was awarded to the Coos County Friends of Public Health in 2015. The new equipment includes a centrifuge and phlebotomy chair for proper positioning during a blood draw. The grant funds also helped to purchase new digital scales, height and weight boards, changing tables, and new toys for the clinic.
