WHAT: Join us at the North Bend Public library as we celebrate the Winter Solstice! Starting at 2:00 PM, craft stations will be available for patrons to make a suncatcher and a beeswax candle, celebrating the return of the sun. Then at 6:00 PM, join us for a night of stories, songs, and poems performed by library patrons and community members during our Solstice Celebration Open Mic Event! All types of performances are welcome, but due to time constraints, musicians are limited to acoustic instruments only. Performances must also be family friendly. Performers can register by seeing a library staff member or at https://forms.microsoft.com/r/Yygxy7E8kv. Performers are also welcome to sign up the night of the event, but preference will be given to pre-registrants, as time is limited. Seasonal drinks and snacks will be available throughout the day starting at 2:00 PM. WHEN: The Solstice Craft Event and Solstice Celebration Open Mic Night are both on Thursday, December 21.
