ODOT: SW Oregon: Winter driving conditions are in effect along the I-5 corridor and state highways in Douglas County due to wet, heavy snow Sunday night, Feb. 24.  Snow has been falling and sticking from Cottage Grove south to Canyonville on the interstate, as well as coastal mountain highways such as Oregon 38, 42 and 138W. Oregon 138 east of Roseburg in the High Cascades has seen minor rock slides at lower elevations to heavy snow, with power outages in the higher elevations toward Diamond Lake. Motorists should: * Drive to the conditions- that means slow down; * Increase following distance; * Have chains or traction tires; * Be prepared for delays; * Consider delaying travel until conditions improve, especially on Oregon 138E.
