Coos Bay Public Library has hotspots available for seven-day check out. These allow patrons with no access at home an opportunity to use the internet. The hotspot can be connected to a mobile-enabled devise, such as a laptop, smartphone, or tablet. It is portable so you do not need to remain in one place for access. The hotspots will work wherever there is cell phone service. This project is supported in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services through CARES Act, administered by the State Library of Oregon. The library has some simple paperwork that needs to be filled out before checking out a hotspot. For more details call 541-269-1101.
