The City of Coos Bay has contracted to re-stripe N. 5th Street from Anderson Avenue to Commercial Avenue. Work will commence on Saturday, October 17th at 6:00 a.m. North 5th Street will remain open for traffic but parking on North 5th Street between Anderson Avenue and Commercial Avenue will be prohibited for most of the day. Please proceed with caution in the construction zone. Wet paint can be expected throughout the 5th Street corridor as shown in the below map.
