Laurel Cove, CCSO report – On December 24, 2018 at about 7:52 PM, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to 90824 Laurel Cove Ln for a report of an assault. Deputies arrived and found the caller had been assaulted by Richard Allen Shore. The caller stated she had been arguing with Shore over the volume of their TV, which turned into a physical altercation. Deputies found probable cause that Shore had assaulted the caller, but Shore had fled the scene prior to the Deputies’ arrival. On December 26th 2018, a Deputy initiated a traffic stop on a male riding a bicycle on Cape Arago Highway with no lighting equipment. The Deputy identified the male as Richard Shore, who was subsequently arrested for the assault which had occurred on December 24.
