Criminal Trespass
News release CCSO.  On 11/21/2017 at about 10:23 pm, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office received a report from a resident at 46988 Highway 101 in Bandon, Oregon that an unknown subject and entered her home uninvited. This address is located in the Laurel Grove area of Coos County. The Bandon Police Department assisted as they were the closest police unit. Officers from the Bandon Police Department who responded to the call located the suspect Christopher Beltran walking near the residence. Mr. Beltran was detained for further investigation. During the investigation it was learned the homeowner’s dogs had alerted them to the unknown person who was around their home. The homeowner discovered the man in their foyer. The man said the “neighbors had sent him over” and that “he needed to speak to someone”. The homeowners said they did not know the man at all. Christopher Beltran was taken into custody by the Coos County Sheriff’s Office and transported to the Coos County Jail where he was booked for Criminal Trespass 1. As of 8:00 am on 11/22/17 Mr. Beltran is still in custody. His bail is set at $10,000.
