Menacing
News release from the Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office. On 4/22/15 at 0630 hours the Coos County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to 92674 Cascade Lane, Coos Bay, Oregon to a disturbance. As a result Deputies learned Tad D. Roane 27 YOA of Coos Bay had damaged property belonging to his father and landlord. Deputies also learned Mr. Roane had threatened his father’s life, 55 year old Eugene Roane and held a knife to his throat. Tad Roane fled prior to the Deputies arrival. At 1650 hours Tad Roane returned to the residence and was taken into custody without incident. Tad Roane was transported to the Coos County Jail and booked on the charge of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Menacing (DOM), and Criminal Mischief II. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Coos Bay Police Department.
