Sumner, CCSO release – On August 3rd, 2019 The Coos County Sheriff’s Office received information of a subject who passed away as the result of a tragic golf cart crash at a local Coos Bay golf course
Deceased was 50 year old Frank A. Dilworth of Springfield. Dilworth was the operator of the golf cart. Another man who was a passenger had minor injuries. The crash occurred when the golf cart rolled over after Dilworth had attempted to drive down a steep embankment. Nearby citizens began CPR. Emergency responders from Sumner fire and EMTs from Bay Cities ambulance responded, but were unable to revive the man. The Coos County Sheriff’s Office investigated the incident, and offers condolences to Mr. Dilworth’s family.
