Broadbent Rd., CCSO release – On 02-25-2019, the Coos County Sheriff’s Department received a report of subjects at 54156 Old Broadbent Road in Myrtle Point needing assistance due to high water conditions. Sheriff Deputies launched a boat on Stringtown Road and later located 52 year old Brenda Broom, 28 year old Breann Harold, and a 9 year old child at the address. Sheriff Deputies reported the water level was within 3 feet of entering the residence. Water was within a foot of entering a neighboring property. Sheriff Deputies transported all three subjects to high ground without further incident.
