According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, May 14, 8:10 p.m., 1100 block Clark St., “male/female dispute at location.  Officer advised mother stepped between the 2 males that were involved and got pushed to the ground.  The suspect had left prior to officer arrival.  Subjects given info on eviction process and to contact attorney for other civil issues.  Suspect referred to DA’s Office for Harassment.”

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, May 14, 9:03 p.m., 900 block O’Connell St., “RP reported her husband slammed her down on the bed and also hurt her arm.  RP ran to neighbor’s house.  Officers contacted all subjects.  Male left for the night.  Female given DV form.  Referred to DA’s Office for Domestic Harassment.

Not Shot
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, May 15, 12:05 a.m., 1000 block State St., “female reported that she was shot in torso.  Advised suspect was in a car driving by.  Officers contacted the female, not as reported.  Subject not shot.  Car drove by and backfired and she felt a twinge in her neck.  Medics checks subject and she is fine.  Not as reported.”

Ferry Road, “officer out with vehicle at location,” 53-year old Ronald Chavez, Coos Bay, taken into custody on NBPD warrant charging DUII.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  “Female going to stay with vehicle until morning and remove the vehicle from location.”
