A magnitude 4.5 earthquake shook an inland area near Cape Mendocino in Northern California Sunday, Aug. 28. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was located 23km west to southwest of Hayfork, CA near where two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast.
