Southwestern Oregon’s women fell 70-69 in an NWAC basketball opener at Mt. Hood CC in Gresham Wednesday. The Lakers (0-1, 5-7) play at Clackamas Saturday, Jan. 5, 2 p.m. SWOCC’s men also lost to the Saints 93-88. Southwestern (0-1, 5-8) are at Clackamas in Oregon City Saturday for a 4 p.m. game.
