The 2017 Oregon volleyball team was picked to finish third in the Pac-12 in a vote of the conference’s coaches, and three Ducks have been selected to the preseason all-Pac-12 team, the conference announced on Wednesday. The Ducks, entering their first season under head coach Matt Ulmer, return 12 letter-winners from last season’s NCAA Tournament team that placed fourth in the Pac-12 (21-10, 13-7). Oregon received 93 points in the preseason coaches poll, third-most behind Washington (118) and defending national champion Stanford (113). The Huskies received eight first-place votes, while Stanford earned three and Utah, picked fourth in the conference, received one.
