The Zonta Club of the Coos Bay Area is hosting the 16th Annual Celebrity Dinner & Auction on Saturday, February 22nd in the Salmon Room at the Mill Casino-Hotel. The gala event begins at 6:00 p.m. and includes dinner, dancing to live music from The Young Bucs, and the opportunity to find some treasures among over a hundred special auction items, many donated by area businesses. Proceeds from the event will fund programs Zonta has worked hard to provide for many years, including scholarships for local students, grant awards for community groups, and school supplies for elementary students. Zonta is an international service organization of executive and professional men and women working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy.
