Barbara Bassett, Prevention Coordinator with Coos County Health and Human Services, will speak to the League of Women Voters of Coos County and their guests on Saturday, February 22, at 10:30 a.m. at the Coos Bay Fire Hall. Ms. Bassett will discuss the restructuring of children’s services, from birth to age 8, as required under SB909 and HB4165. The League of Women Voters of Oregon is revisiting their 1989 study, Children At Risk, and the Coos County League members will be learning more about changes to local services.
