Another confirmed case of the COVID-19 virus has been discovered within the inmate population at Shutter’s Creek Minimum Security Correctional Facility north of North Bend. It also stands as the second recorded case in Coos County. The first case at the former Air Force Radar facility was reported by the State Department of Corrections on April 9. That individual was reportedly transferred in and then out when it was discovered he had the virus.
