The fields are all set for this weekend’s OSAA 3A Boys & Girls State Basketball Tournament at North Bend and Marshfield high schools. Eight girls teams and eight boys teams will be in town to play March 2-4 with the championship games set for Saturday night at MHS. The boys will open play at NBHS on Thursday, Mar. 2 with Horizon Christian, Tualatin playing top seed Dayton at 1:30 p.m., followed by Cascade Christian & top seed Salem Academy at 3:15 p.m. The evening session begins at 6:30 p.m. with Blanchet Catholic playing Harrisburg, and the final game has De La Salle North Catholic taking on Amity at 8:15 p.m. In the girl’s bracket, games will open Thursday, Mar. 2 at MHS with Lakeview playing Salem Academy at 1:30 p.m., followed by Blanchet Catholic and Portland Adventist Academy at 3:15 p.m. The evening session has Rainier vs. Coquille at 6:30 p.m., and Nyssa vs. Dayton at 8:15 p.m.
