It was a sweep of post season honors for the Marshfield football team. The Pirates, the unbeaten state champions, had senior quarterback Dom Montiel, who led the state in all classifications this year in passing yards and touchdowns thrown, was honored as Offensive Player of the Year, while his teammate Ezra Waterman was honored as Defensive Player of the Year. Their coach John Lemmons was also named Coach of the Year. Other Pirates to make the State offensive list were receivers DJ Daughtery and Maddux Mateski. Second team honors went to receiver Pierce Davidson, center Hayden Murphy, offensive lineman Josh Giacomini, and kicker Alberto Castillo. Honorable Mention honors went to running back Miguel Velazquez and receiver Mason Pederson. On defense, First Team: defensive line Hayden Murphy, defensive back DJ Daughterty, and defensive back Maddux Mateski. Honorable mention Toby Johnston defensive line.
