A Douglas Co. male is in custody in Coos Co. after he allegedly slammed a stolen pickup truck into a Coos Bay Police vehicle on Newmark St. in North Bend Sunday. Troy Mann was arrested later after he reportedly abandoned the vehicle and walk out into the bay. He was transported to Bay Area Hospital for evaluation. The police officer was also checked at the hospital but was reportedly not seriously injured.
