Booster Clubs
The Marshfield and North Bend booster clubs meet today at noon. The Pirates will gather at Abby’s Pizza in Coos Bay, while the Bulldogs meet in the high school’s Hall of Champions. Both meetings are open to those interested in local high school sports.

Marshfield’s basketball teams swept visiting Toledo Tuesday night in a pair of non-conference games in Coos Bay. The Lady Pirates won 50-23 to improve to 7-5 in the preseason, while the boys won 69-41 to improve to 9-3. Senior Rylee Trendell led Marshfield with 20-points, followed by Jake Miles with 14, Bo Jame Weatherston 10, Malio Favalora 10, Vincent Tine 5, Justin Cooper 4, Scott Clough 4, and Kasey Banks 2. Marshfield won the boys’ JV game 70-42.
