Museum names Interim Director, June 10

An interim executive director of the Coos History Museum in Coos Bay will begin work Monday, June 13, replacing Frank Smoot who resigned earlier. George B. Wright, a former executive director of the American Lung Association of Oregon, was chosen by the Coos County Historical Society’s Board of Directors. The life-long Oregonian will move from Portland to the Bay Area while filling the interim position.
