Hwy. 101 Improvement Project, Feb. 20

Anyone who has traveled the Central Oregon Coast through the Lincoln City area is familiar with the bottleneck on Hwy. 101 through the Nelscott portion of the community.  That is changing.  The Oregon Department of Transportation has a $17 million highway project that will change the passage way from two lanes to three.  Out of that $17 million, state officials have allocated $3.1 million for right of way purchases, including two newly built homes.  The homes are being demolished.
