Robbery & Burglary Arrest, Dec. 1

News release Coos Co. Sheriff’s Office.  On 11/29/2016 at about 1:39 PM, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a trailer park south of Coquille off Hwy 42. Upon arrival deputies contacted 21 year old Jordan Byrd who reported to deputies that he had interrupted a female who was burglarizing his brother’s trailer.  Jordan told the deputies that he had seen the door open to his brother’s trailer and thinking his brother was inside, he went in.  At that time he realized that the person inside the trailer was a female and was burglarizing the trailer.  When Jordan confronted the female she pushed him to the ground and held him there before fleeing. From the description, Deputies were able to identify the suspect as a female transient that has been in the Coquille area for a couple of weeks that has had numerous contacts by the Sheriff’s Office and Coquille Police.  Sheriff’s Deputies located the suspect, 43 year old Kathleen Allen near the trailer park and arrested her for Robbery III, Theft I, Burglary I, and Criminal Mischief III.  She was taken to the Coos County Jail and booked.
