According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, June 26, 7:38 a.m., 2600 block Sherman Ave., “mail theft, observed male subject steal mail from mail box.” Thirty-two year old McKenzie Brown cited and released in lieu of custody for Mail Theft.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, June 26, 12:34 p.m., 2300 block Everett ave., “burglary, report taken.”
Shoplifter
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, June 26, 4:03 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., Safeway, “shoplifter, male shoplifter took approximately $45 worth of items. Got items back but will press charges and want him permanently trespassed. 911 call, suspicious subject @ Rite Aid,” 22-year old Donald Bignell taken into custody for Parole Violation and Theft II. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille. “Subject was permanently trespassed from Safeway and PV Mall.”
Wanted
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, June 26, 9:23 p.m., McPherson & Vermont, “located wanted subject,” 35-year old Alisha B. Stanfill, Coos Bay, charged with Robbery II, Theft II, Harassment and Criminal Trespass II. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Probation Violation
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, June 26, 11:07 p.m., 2000 Broadway Ave., bicycle “traffic stop,” 29-year old Zahnie J. Moore, Coos Bay, arrested for Probation Violation and Theft by Receiving. Also warned No Bike Lights. “Subject will also be referred to DA for PCS Schedule I and Scheduled IV. Officer also recovered stolen bicycle.”

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, June 27, 1:33 a.m., Oak & 14th, “traffic stop,” 33-year old Wallace M. Mangum, North Bend, cited for DWS Violation, “driver will also be referred to DA for PCS Meth & Heroin.” Passenger, 20-year old Travis B. Sapp, North Bend, arrested on CCSO warrants charging Failure to Appear on UUMV, Theft I, Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Possession of Burglary Tool or Theft Device, and FTA I. Passenger 22-year old Michaela B. Long, Coos Bay, referred to DA for PCS Schedule I Meth, and passenger 25-year old Kyle Campbell, North Bend, advised to call his Parole Officer in the morning. K9 Chessie was deployed.
